Message from the Ambassador of Bangladesh Embassy
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
It is my great pleasure to see the success of Bangladesh International School, English Section, (BISES) Riyadh, which was founded in 1990 under the umbrella of Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Riyadh. Â It was previously known as “Bangladesh Embassy School” as it was run by the Embassy of Bangladesh in Riyadh. Over the years, it was handed to the Bangladeshi Parents Community of our children by introducing voting system for having Board of Directors (BoD) with around 5 members elected by the parents.
The school is well known for its outstanding academic performance. Each year graduates go to world class universities in Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Canada, United States, England, Australia and other top nations for higher education.
I am happy to see the recent development and steps taken by the school to create a better learning environment for our youngsters by establishing their own website designed by the alumni of the school; IT/CSE graduates from international universites all around the globe. It was plausible because of the steps taken by Dr. Mohammad Abul Hasan, Economic Minister of the Bangladesh Embassy of Riyadh to create the BISES Alumni Assoication founded by Shahriar Ahmed Chowdhury (batch of 2016), and his team, alumni members from BISES, and under the supervision of Dr. Manoj Kumar Dutta, one of the BoD members, Treasurer of BISES.
Last but not least, I hope this institute to perpetuate its educational enivronment and continue to produce top quality students who can carry the school’s names, wherever their itinerary is. I also hope the sudents show back the school their learnt skills and experience by being part of BISES Alumni Association and implementing what is necessary for a better future generation to secure the motherland Bangladesh.Â
Mr. Golam Moshi
Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Embassy of KSA.
